About

How did we get here?

It started with a desk.

A cluttered, chaotic, cable-tangled, coffee-stained—or was it soda?— desk.

Like most freelancers and consultants working from home, we were living in a space that was pretending to be an office, and failing spectacularly.

So we designed a few things to make it work better. Then we printed them. Then we couldn’t stop.

Theoretical Design was born out of that obsession: create products that actually improve your home workspace—without adding to the mess.

Check them out and share your feedback.

And why not, those problems that are driving you crazy (please refrain from sharing daddy issues, call your therapist for that). But for real, let us know if you have something going on on your desk you would love to see it solved.

The Theoretical Manifesto

Drum roll please

  • We believe your desk is sacred.
  • We believe clutter is emotional.
  • We believe remote workers deserve better tools.
  • We believe the word “ergonomic” should not mean “ugly.”
